Livelihoods for marginalize women

Livelihood development for women is the key program area of FRIENDS. We facilitate women to develop their own, secure, and resilient livelihoods to come out of poverty. The approach of livelihood development is asset (human, social, physical, financial & natural) building of target group. Coordinating livelihood services, enhance the capacity of entrepreneur skills, developing and strengthening of community networks, work on gender aspects to get more family support for women’s livelihoods and close monitoring are the other related activities. The women in our target groups do various livelihoods under agriculture and livestock, production, and services sectors.
