WELCOME TO FRIENDS
FRIENDS - Forum for Rural Income & Environmental Development Services is a non-governmental organization established in year 2011 in Sri Lanka, committed to uplift the living standards of vulnerable families. Program priorities are livelihood development for marginalized women, women empowerment, child right protection and promotion, alcohol and drug prevention, mental health, and environment development. Community mobilization and organization strengthening are the other program sectors.
FRIENDS implement project activities in more than 150 villages in north and south of the country targeting vulnerable families and paying special attention to women’s economic empowerment.
